PREAMBLE

The College Medical Centre started operations in 1969 as a one room clinic being run by a male superintendent.  Mr. Osinubi.  The College was then under the Federal Ministry of Education.

On the 1st of April, 1970 when the College became autonomous, the need for recognition became apparent with the increase in the staff as well as student population.  A part time medical consultant was therefore employed.

A new medical centre was built by a  College Taskforce and declared open on the 4th of December, 1986 by the Chairman of the Governing Council, Alhaji Inuwa Musa.

The centre has since been functioning and maintaining the health status of the College Community.
